Our family is headed to Arlington to celebrate with Janet's sister, June. What sweet sisters they are, and June was so gracious to invite our family and the Pates, too. We are so glad to be staying close to home this year.
Mom and Dad came this last couple of days, and Dad worked and worked and worked, helping us do anything he could find to help with, including dishes and laundry. What a huge help!
We aren't quite completely packed, but we have certainly made a dent, so hopefully we'll be able to relax and enjoy the next few days with our family. Today is Thanksgiving, tomorrow we're planning to celebrate David's birthday, which is next week, and Saturday is our Christmas celebration with both sides of our family here at the house. They have been such a blessing and encouragement to us. God is so good, and knew just what kind of a family we needed to sharpen us and encourage us, too.
Happy Thanksgiving!
